Huawei’s equipment helped the UK to start its first ever 5G network services
EE, one of the UK’s major telecom operator has launched the country’s ever 5G network services and on top of that, the company has used 5G network equipment provided by Huawei.

On May 30, BBC used EE’s 5G network to broadcast the morning program. BBC reporter Rory Cellan-Jones participated in the live show, before the broadcasting, he shared a clip on his twitter account and pointed to show Huawei’s 5G network equipment that the EE is using.
EE’s 5G services first introduced in six major UK cities, including London, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Belfast, Birmingham and Manchester, and will be opened in 10 other cities including Bristol and Liverpool.
Huawei responded: “We are very pleased to be one of the partners supporting EE with a new era of faster and more reliable mobile connectivity over 5G in the UK.”
