Huawei’s 5G solutions stay on top of its competitors: GlobalData

Huawei is the world’s largest telecom equipment maker, and its steps are also moving forward to capture 5G network market globally, and a recent report reveals the real reason of why the company deserves to be on top in the field of 5G.

GlobalData, a data analytics company, released telecom industry’s first Competitive Landscape Assessment (CLA) of the 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) infrastructure. In which, it determined that Huawei’s 5G solutions stay on top on its competitors.

The report evaluates the 5G mobile base station portfolios of five key vendors including Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, and ZTE. As the evaluation is based on four standards: baseband unit capacity, radio unit portfolio, installation ease, and technology evolution.

“Huawei’s 5G RAN portfolio holds the strongest position overall, with leading claims in all four criteria categories, including superior baseband unit capacity and radio unit portfolio breadth.” said the evaluator.
