Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 with pop-up selfie camera launching on August 1 in India

We’ve previously reported that Huawei is launching its new pop-up selfie camera smartphone in India and the company has now confirmed its launch date and the identity.

Huawei has confirmed that its Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 will be launched on August 1st, 2019 exclusively on Amazon. Although the price of the phone is not announced but it’s expected to be under INR 20,000.

As for specifications, Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 comes with a full view 6.59-inch display with an FHD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and the pixel density is 391 PPI.

This is Huawei’s first popup selfie camera phone which includes a 16MP (f/2.0) lens. On the backside, the phone has triple vertically aligned camera setup of 16MP + 8MP + 2MP, as well as an LED flash.

The phone is powered by Kirin 710F processor with 4GB of RAM + 64/128GB internal storage, supports up to 512GB using MicroSD card expansion. It comes with EMUI 9.0 system (Android 9 Pie), a 3.5mm headphone jack and a battery capacity of 4000mAh.
