Huawei completes the world’s first 5G indoor and outdoor interference coordination solution verification

Huawei together with Jiangsu mobile successfully completes the world’s first 5G indoor and outdoor interference coordination solution verification on May 31st.

The test was conducted in Zhonghai Huanyu City, Nanjing, where the downlink experience rate of edge users realized with 20% of the increased rate. It was said to be the first large-scale live network verification of the 5G indoor and outdoor interference coordination-CoMP solution.

As the 5G network construction is extending, the problems in the indoor and outdoor co-frequency networking were also increasing and becomes more noticeable as well as causing the problem to the consumers.

In order to solve the problems, both the firms introduced the 5G LampSite in Nanjing Huanyu City and successfully placed the indoor and outdoor interference coordination technology. After the installation, users realized the reduced inter-cell interference and improve demodulation.

At the event, the community member of Jiangsu Mobile Technology, Wu Peng commented that the 5G network is the core to create a superior indoor and outdoor wireless web.

The corporation between Jiangsu Mobile and Huawei will bring the new advanced 5G user experience that will gradually expand its application of all scenarios. He further said that the Jiangsu Group is looking forward in the future to work with the company.
