Last week, the US Federal Communication Commission (FCC) decided to bar US carriers from tapping $8.5billion government aid and to stand against this decision, Huawei is planning the challenge FCC on the legal ground, says a report.

According to WSJ, Huawei has decided to challenge an FCC’s decision of barring rural carrier customers from tapping an $8.5 billion government fund to purchase equipment from Huawei.

The source reveals that Huawei is planning to file a legal suit against FCC next week in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans. And an official announcement on this legal case could come by next week.

Huawei called the FFC order “unlawful” and asked the FCC “to rethink its profoundly mistaken order.” It argued the FCC’s decision was based “on nothing more than irrational speculation and innuendo.”
