Huawei Watch GT, GT 2, Honor Band 4 and Band 5 update brings new watch faces

Smart wearables including Huawei Watch GT, GT 2, Honor Band 4 and Band 5 is receiving a new update that installs new watch faces and optimizations.

Huawei Watch GT, Watch GT 2, Honor Band 4 and Band 5 are receiving the latest update with new Chinese New Year theme watch faces for the Year of the Rat.

The update for Honor Band 4 also brings optimizations for incoming calls. However, we did not confirm the same update for Honor Band 5 outside of China.

HOW TO UPDATE:

Watch GT:

Connect the watch to your phone using the Huawei Health app, open the app, touch Devices, touch the device name, choose Firmware update, then follow the onscreen instructions to update your watch if there are any new updates.

Honor Band:

You can check for the update from Huawei Health app > go to Me > My devices. Access the device details screen, touch Firmware update, and then follow the on-screen instructions to update your band.
