Huawei Watch GT 5 specs and health features leaked by online retailer

Huawei will unveil a set of new wearables on September 19 but before that, the Watch GT 5 series key specs surfaced on an alleged early listing. The leak also shows the advanced TruSense system with a more accurate health experience for users.

A UK online retailer “Currys Business” has leaked the Huawei Watch GT 5 key specs. The retailer has listed the device on its online store and added details about the wearable’s parameters, capabilities, TruSense system, and overall appearance.

Starting with the design, the device shows up in two colors: Silver and Black. The former has an elegant look while the latter appears tough and classic. It has the same octagonal face as found in the previous revelations.

The specs list says that the Watch GT 5 46mm bears a 1.4-inch AMOLED screen. It will be a solid display panel with a sharp and scratch-resistant finish for clear visuals.

Watch GT 5 battery life counts as 10-14 days (as per the image) based on the enabled features and usage. It has an IP68 rating with waterproof capability. The smartwatch also supports GPS, Bluetooth, and comes with a 2-year guarantee.

Health and other features:

Further inputs reveal the Huawei Watch GT 5 will equip the new TruSense health system. The technology brings various health-based features. Users can keep track of their sports, outdoor activities, walking steps, running distance, and calories.

They can also check if they are getting proper sleep or not. The wearable can also monitor heart rate, blood oxygen level, stress level, temperature, and more.

Other features on the early listing are mental well-being monitoring, emotional detection, breathing exercises, meditation courses, and yoga videos for an accurate image of health and fitness.

Unlike the official TruSense introduction, the listing doesn’t mention the ECG and blood pressure monitoring. Although Huawei may shed light on this matter at the grand wearable launch event. Apart from these details, the device is said to be compatible with Android and iOS as well.

Huawei Watch GT 5 supports maps and Sunflower positioning systems with super precision. It supports voice commands and on-screen reminders for daily operations. Speech-to-text capability and WhatsApp quick reply are also available.

The early listing hints that the Watch GT 5 will be available in the UK soon. It may price between £191.65 – £229.99. How far these specs, features, and prices are accurate will be known after the official Watch GT 5 unveiling.
