Huawei Watch GT 5 series is the next addition to the company’s wearable gallery and it’s time to learn when the device will release and what excellent features it will have. It seems we don’t have to wait too long to get a glimpse of the new smartwatch.
According to the official announcement, Huawei will launch new wearables on September 19. The company will host a grand global Innovative Product Launch event and unveil a variety of devices, possibly tablets, notebooks, and much more.
Though the company has not confirmed the products, the promo poster pictured two wearables. Hence, Huawei could release the Watch GT 5 series this month. The new wearable lineup may have standard and Pro models with different size variants.
Since the Watch GT 5 series already appeared on various certification sites, the expectation of its launch on September 19 is even higher. Huawei may share a teaser for this device in the coming days, marking confirmation on speculations.
Watch GT 5 Series: Appearance
Huawei announced the TruSense technology – an advanced health sensing system last week. While showcasing the features of TruSense in a clip, the company highlighted a new wearable. This is expected to be the all-new Watch GT 5 series.
The video shows a smartwatch with an octagonal-like dial casing. It has a bold rotating crown on the upper left side and a feature button at the bottom. The device also shows a wireless charging panel at the back and thick straps, for a better grip.

Watch GT 5 Series: Features
Speaking of the features, the smartwatch is said to pre-install an upgraded software version. This OS will offer smoother and more fluent transitions on the wearable. Users will get a faster and more reliable feel with the new Watch GT 5 models.
A Weibo tipster said that the upcoming wearable could bear a better and higher version than the HarmonyOS 4.2. The details will be clear with the official launch.
Huawei Watch GT 5 series will bring the 41mm and 46mm size variants. Unlike the predecessors, the wearable lineup will also accompany a Pro model with dynamic capabilities. It has an IP68 rating and can bear a depth of 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.
For charging, the device will support 18W power adapter. The highlight of this wearable will be the TruSense technology. It is capable of providing 98% accurate heart rating and blood pressure details. The advanced health sensor can also cover 60+ indicators alongside identifying the emotional stress of a human.
