Huawei Watch GT 3 46mm bags new optimization and performance boost with September 2023 update
Huawei is pushing a new software update for the Watch GT 3 smartwatch in the global market and it comes with the September 2023 optimization for the watch to improve its performance for a better user experience.
Over the past two weeks, we’ve spotted firmware for the Watch GT 3 lineup including the Pro version. The update added a new hibernation mode. The update also allows you to open the app from the context menu. The firmware added a new feature to detect the band’s grip on your wrist. Moreover, the Watch GT 3 gets incoming call notifications support for specific social media apps.
On the other hand, Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro users get a new swimming feature, accuracy optimizations of TruSeen heart rate monitoring, and improvements for SpO2 blood oxygen measurement. Before this rollout, the Watch GT 3 46mm version already installed these features. And the latest release takes the users to the next level.
September 2023 update:
According to the changelog, this new software for the Huawei Watch GT 3 46mm carries HarmonyOS version 3.0.0.103. And the downloadable package size is 78.29 megabytes. It’s revealed that the Huawei Watch GT 3 smartwatch will install new optimization from the month of September 2023.
This will also settle the changes that have been installed with the last software update. We suggest all of the Huawei Watch GT 3 smartwatch users download and install this new update to get a better user experience.
Before you begin, make sure to get the new Huawei Health app from AppGallery. This will give you a better experience while installing the new update.
You are advised to maintain distance between the watch and the phone to get install the update without any disconnection. However, if the installation gets interrupted, you should try again immediately.
