Huawei Watch Fit 3 global units grabbing second update in May 2024
Huawei has kicked off the second update for the newly launched Watch Fit 3 devices this month (May 2024) in the global market. After the very first firmware for the respective wearable, the company is bringing another pack of improvements.
Inputs say that the Huawei Watch Fit 3 is getting the second May 2024 update with the HarmonyOS 4.2.0.150. It also bears a software package that weighs 58.09MB.
Compared to the first rollout, the company has not made any major or big changes to the Watch Fit 3. The corresponding wearable users won’t find any new offering excluding a few optimizations for the UI elements and system stability of the device.
Optimizations:
- Improved the appearance of some user interfaces.
- Optimized the system stability for certain situations.
Yes the changelog is similar to the previous software update and the only difference visible over here is the firmware version as well as the overall package size.
Although the information reveals that Huawei might have eliminated the hidden vulnerabilities found with the last firmware. Hence the firmware seems significant and can play a vital role in enhancing the performance and user experience of the watch.
The second May 2024 update is showing up for some global Huawei Watch Fit 3 users at the moment. Since it is tagged in a staged release, it will take some time to cover all the units.
By that time, you can ensure that your Huawei Health app is running on the latest version and there is adequate storage space and battery level in your wrist gadget.
