Huawei Watch D2 expected to launch in late September
A new leak suggests that Huawei might unveil the Watch D2 wearable in late September. The Chinese tech giant has several products to release next month and the second-generation blood pressure smartwatch could be one of them.
Weibo tipster @UncleKanshan states that the upcoming Huawei Watch D2 won’t launch before September 20. The device is seemingly in the pre-launch testing stage. It has also received the medical device license and may soon get more certificates.
Judging from the past ‘new product release’ events, the tipster said that the company likes holding events on Tuesdays. Thus, we can expect a launch conference on September 24. At the same time, the company might unveil Watch D2 as well.
Huawei is already in talks to host a press conference in September. Tipster @FixedFocus said that the company will not only unveil the triple foldable but also other products next month. Now we have an expected timeline for these devices.
The Chinese tech giant hasn’t commented on this news so far. On 19th August, Yu Chengdong – Huawei Consumer Business Chairman confirmed that users will be able to purchase the world’s first tri-hold handset by next month. It seems the leaks are on the right track and consumers may soon witness Huawei’s autumn launch event.
Watch D2 could be similar to its predecessor to some extent. As per the medical device license, the wearable supports a wireless charging base and an airbag in the wristband. It can efficiently detect the systolic and diastolic blood pressure of a body.
Other features include pulse rate and health-based assessments. These tests provide precise health report even after taking them multiple times. Being the second-gen device, Huawei may add new and advanced health-based techs to the new Watch D wearable.
