Huawei Watch D welcomes July 2024 system stability improvements
Huawei Watch D is receiving system stability improvements via the July 2024 update. Apart from enhanced performance, the firmware also targets hidden bugs or issues in the wearable that often result in the freezing of apps or other problems.
It’s good to see that the company continues to renovate its older devices. It keeps sending the newest bug fixes and improvements to make these devices work efficiently.
And Watch D is no exception in this case. With the latest release, the company has ensured that the wearable runs seamlessly. It increases the stability aspects and makes existing features more reliable and responsive to users’ commands.
July 2024 improvements update for the Huawei Watch D is rolling out with the HarmonyOS 2.1.0.421 version. You must have 2.1.0.385 and above baseline builds to install the latest upgrade. The changelog points are given below.

Huawei Watch D is the very first wearable to bring a rectangular frame instead of a round one. Though the key feature of this device is its health-tracking tools, especially the Blood Pressure monitoring capability.
For wearable updates, Huawei has served the HarmonyOS 4.2 to most of its flagship smartwatches. It also upgraded mid-range bands like Band 8 to the newest software version. Yet, devices like the Watch 3 series are far away from this offering.
Huawei is currently working on more models for its wearable gallery like the Watch 5 series and the GT 5 sports watch. With the launch of these models, we may get an idea of what the company has planned for its existing smartwatches.
