Today, Huawei surprised global customers and launched a brand new smartwatch, Huawei Watch 4 series. It comes with various new technologies including a strong screen and premium design with eye-catching looks.

This is the first mainstream smartwatch lineup in the global market launching after 2021’s Huawei Watch 3 series. And with Huawei Watch 4 series, Huawei is ready to fill in these two long years of waiting with lots of excitement.

First, let’s talk about the design.

Huawei Watch 4 series has a unique spherical sapphire glass screen, which looks stylish with the aerospace-grade titanium case. The case is made with TC4 titanium alloy, which is 3 times stronger and 2 times hard than regular titanium.

Huawei Watch 4 series resembles cutting-edge design and it is showcased in the appearance. The always-on display will be visible in broad daylight along with new themes and widgets for that colorful display.

The combination is completed by planet watch faces. According to the information, these can adjust based on the crown rotation and on the time.

Speaking of which, Huawei Watch 4 series come in a large 48mm version. The Pro model has a huge 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED flexible screen. It is a 5.3% high screen-to-body ratio and 16.5% narrower bezels than its predecessor.

Despite its giant size, Huawei has made some cuts in weight and thickness. It makes the watch easy to wear and without discomfort.

Fitness:

Huawei Watch 4 series comes with over 100+ workout modes. There are activity modes including a diving range mode, a freediver, and TrueSport science-based fitness technology. The smartwatch equips route back and an AI running coach. Interestingly, Huawei has introduced brand new activity rings, which is quite intriguing.

Health:

Huawei has packed the Watch 4 series with respiratory checkup technology to provide comprehensive evaluations based on physiological indicators. On the flip side, the ECG analysis and health glance trends will keep you updated with the latest health vitals.

Aside from these, the watch gets you covered with other health-tracking features including:

Battery:

Huawei Watch 4 series is launched with a large battery that goes up to 4.5 days in typical usage on the Pro version. On the other side, the Watch 4 stays up for 3 days in typical usage.

However, there’s a ultra long battery life mode, which could last battery up to 21 days (Pro version). Meanwhile, the Watch 4 will ramp up battery for up to 14 days.

4G LTE:

Don’t forget that this smartwatch has eSIM support, which provides independent LTE 4G communication capabilities along with navigation support.

Fall Detection:

The watch brings a brand new fall detection feature, which sends SOS with one tap. This is a fresh functionality added to the smartwatch.

Huawei Watch 4 Series Price:

Huawei Watch 4 Pro starts at 699 Euros for the titanium strap and 549 euros for the brown leather strap. Meanwhile, the Watch 4 standard version is priced at 449 euros with a black fluoroelastomer strap.

The watch will be pre-sale on June 8 and the open sale will begin on June 22, 2023 in the global market.
