Huawei Watch 3 Series reportedly uses Kirin 710L processor, some users facing battery issues

On June 2nd, Huawei brought us the brand new flagship smartwatch – Huawei Watch 3 series, this new lineup comes with various new features as well as design changes that made it a successor of the Watch GT 2 series.

According to the information, Huawei Watch 3 series comes in a standard and a Pro version. Both of the devices equip different models with new strap options.

Huawei has built the Watch 3 with new materials including stainless steel, ceramic, as well as titanium in the pro models. All of the aesthetics around an AMOLED display, that’s 1.43-inch in size and 456 x 456 resolution.

 

Talking about specialties, the new Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro provides native calling support using the eSIM network, which could also help you to receive and stay connected with all of your notifications.

Furthermore, these smartwatches have new health features to keep a track of your health readings and provide them as accurately as possible. For instance, the new body temperature measurement feature allows you to check the skin temperature, which is helpful to detect situations such as fever.

Even with these new features, Huawei has not been revealed the processor that has been used in this flagship smartwatch. Yet, a tipster from China has got something useful for us.

Kirin 710L:

Following the launch, some of the Huawei Watch 3 series are facing low battery issues, and it’s been confirmed that the reason for poor battery drive comes from the use of the Kirin 710 low-power chipset.

So, the composition for this watch draws as – Huawei HiSilicon Hi1132a + Kirin710L.

Kirin A1 Wearable Chip:

Back in 2019, Huawei introduced the Kirin A1 wearable chipset, which has been the world’s first Bluetooth 5.1 and Bluetooth Low Energy 5.1 prowess. For your information, the chipset is specially designed to empower smart wearable devices such as smartwatches, earbuds, earphones, smart speakers, and eyewear.

Kirin A1 chip has Isochronous Dual Channel Bluetooth data transmission technology with lower latency and lowers power consumption architecture compared to other chips in the market, which helps it to deliver the best performance.

The chipset was used in Huawei Watch GT 2 Series, yet we currently, don’t know why Huawei hasn’t used this chip on the latest Huawei Watch 3.
