Huawei Watch 3 series greets February 2024 HarmonyOS update
Huawei Watch 3 series has started receiving the February 2024 update in China with new system optimizations. The latest firmware is gradually making its way to the respective wearables and could take some time to reach all compatible units.
Notably, the latest rollout covers two models in the Watch 3 series: the standard and the Pro model. Both these variants require a specific baseline version to avoid compatibility problems when proceeding with the upgrade installation.
You can check the versions below:
- Huawei Watch 3: baseline build 4.0.0.382
- Huawei Watch 3 Pro: baseline build 4.0.0.385
According to the information, the Huawei Watch 3 series is receiving the latest February 2024 update with the HarmonyOS version 4.0.0.386. It doesn’t reveal the software size, yet we suggest keeping at least 300MB of free storage space.
In terms of offerings, the update only brings system stability improvement in certain aspects. Ultimately, users would be able to operate heavy tasks or multiple operations at the same time, without encountering lags or buffering.
Other than that, the firmware doesn’t count any specific additions to the changelog. To experience glitch-free functioning in your wearable, it is better to download the newest HarmonyOS 4.0.0.386 update. You can wait for the phased rollout or use the Huawei Health app to install the update.
Points to Remember:
- Make sure to keep the smartphone and smartwatch in an adequate Bluetooth range.
- Maintain more than 20% of battery level in the wearable.
- Keep patience as it may take some time to download the installation package.
