Huawei Watch 3/Pro begins HarmonyOS 3 public beta journey

Here we have great news for the Huawei Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro users, the company has started the HarmonyOS 3 public beta journey for these smartwatches after testing versions through different modes.

Notably, Huawei Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro know for their high response touch-sensitive screen and after upgrading to the HarmonyOS 3 public beta you will find a new phase of your smartwatch.

Compatible model number:

• Huawei Watch 3: GLL-AL00, GLL-AL30
• Huawei Watch 3 Pro: GLL-AL01

However, to take part in HarmonyOS 3 beta activity, do check that your smartwatches are running over the latest HarmonyOS 2.1.0.239 version, if not then update it.

Users of the Huawei Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro can register to take part in the “Public Beta Early Adoption Activities” in order to test out the public beta version, fix software issues, improve version quality, increase usability and ease of use, and review to improve the version to the required level for official release soon.

Here is how to participate:

To take part in the public beta activity on your Huawei Watch 3 and Warch 3 Pro:

Open ‘My Huawei App’, and from here you can easily upgrade your device to the public beta version. Click on ‘Go to Sign Up’ next to the wearable device in the public beta version. Simply participate in the registration. Or you can update it through the Member Center App’.

Before updating do note that both the My Huawei and Member Center app are updated and running over the 12.1.7.300 versions for My Huawei and the 10.2.6.300 version for the Member Center app.

Note: It is not possible to roll back this public beta version on its own. You’ll receive the official version after the public beta has ended, do register accurately.
