Huawei unveils MatePad SE 11 tablet with 7700mAh battery and 22.5W charging

Huawei has unveiled a new budget-friendly tablet named MatePad SE 11 globally with significant features and design upgrades. It carries an FHD+ eye comfort display, a metal body, a jumbo battery cell, and efficient M-Pen Lite support for easy writing.

Design

New MatePad SE 11 tablet adopts a thin and lightweight metal body that exhibits a flagship look and makes it convenient to carry all day. The device has curvy edges made with high-quality aluminum that boosts stiffness by 45.2%.

It comes in two elegant color schemes: Crystal Blue and Nebula Gray. For dimensions, the tablet measures 252.3 x 163.8 x 6.9mm and weighs 475 grams with the cell.

Display

Huawei has equipped an 11-inch TFT LCD (IPS) screen to the tablet with an FHD+ resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels), 85% screen-to-body ratio, and 400 nits peak brightness. With an eye comfort display panel, you can experience an immersive view.

The display also supports a 1400:1 contrast ratio, bright-clear graphics, 16.7 million colors, 100% sRGB, eBook mode, and full-range DC Dimming. It can alter the brightness in real-time as per ambient light to remain suitable for your eyes.

Internal Configurations

A few inputs mention that the tablet runs on a Kirin 710A or Snapdragon 680 chipset. But Huawei hasn’t officially listed the processor details. The device pre-installs HarmonyOS 2.0 and brings features like multi-screen collaboration for quick data transfer, second screen, drawing, and more.

You can also use tools like multi-window, kids corner, closer communication via MeeTime call, and more. MatePad SE 11 has two storage variants (64GB/128GB) and three memory options (4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM).

Huawei launched the MatePad SE 11 globally with an 8MP rear lens and a 5MP selfie camera on the front. It packs a 7700mAh cell with 22.5W charging support.

M-Pen Lite:

The MatePad SE 11 tablet also supports an M-Pen Lite stylus for effortless writing, drawing, taking notes, and other relevant operations. It has a portable tug clip and a matte metallic coating all around, giving a clean and classy finish.

Connectivity segment counts WLAN 2.4GHz and 5GHz, Bluetooth 5.1, BLE, SBC, AAC, PC data sync support, OTG support, USB 2.0, USB Type-C, gravity sensor, ambient light sensor, 1 mic, 4 speakers, and Huawei Histen 9.0 audio setup.
