Huawei unveiled MatePad 11.5 2024 tablet in global market

Huawei has launched the new MatePad 11.5 2024 tablet in the global market. The device packs a giant battery and comes with various useful specifications. It is a “handy all-rounder” tablet that will make your office work easier and more convenient.

On December 12, Huawei unveiled top-end products on the global stage such as Mate X6, Nova 13 series, FreeBuds Pro 4, and the new FreeClip Rose Gold Edition.

Alongside these devices, the company silently launched the Huawei MatePad 11.5 2024 tablet for global consumers. Let’s explore its key features and specs in detail.

Design

MatePad 11.5 2024 tablet has a sleek and slim design. The company crafted the new tablet using aluminum alloy, Cavity Slot Magnetic (CSM) antennae, and a micro-curved middle frame. It comes in two colors: Isle Blue and Space Gray.

Dimension and Display

The new-gen MatePad 11.5 tablet measures 260.88 x 176.82 x 6.85mm and weighs 499 grams, including the battery. It has an 11.5-inch TFT LCD (IPS) screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and can smartly switch between 60/90/120Hz refresh rates.

Other display properties include 2200 x 1440 pixels resolution, 229 PPI, 16.7 million, 100% sRGB, 86% screen-to-body ratio, and 10 contact points during touch. The device supports nano-level anti-glare technology to reduce light interference by 97%.

The PaperMatte display offers an eye-soothing experience by making visuals clearer and lessening the eye strain. Color eBook Mode further improves the reading experience.

Internal Configuration

Huawei MatePad 11.5 2024 pre-installs HarmonyOS 4.2. The chipset details aren’t mentioned yet. Other than that, the device has two RAM variants: 6GB and 8GB as well as two storage variants: 128GB + 256GB.

Regarding software features, the tablet supports an upgraded Notes app that has a series of new templates and a one-touch split-screen capability. A Note Replay feature displays audio and handwritten content together for easy reviewing. It also has a “note lock” to keep your thoughts away from prying eyes.

Camera

Huawei MatePad 11.5 has a 13MP camera (f/1.8 aperture, AutoFocus) on the back and an 8MP lens on the front face. The rear camera is packed in one end of the pill-shaped cutout while the front-facing lens is attached on the edges at the center.

Battery

The new device packs a jumbo 7700mAh battery with 30W fast charging. It lets you recharge the tablet within minutes and can play videos for 10 hours in a row.

Accessories

Huawei MatePad 11.5 users can attach a Smart Keyboard to the device or use an M-Pencil 3 to operate the tablet. Other features in the list include WLAN 2.4GHz and 5GHz, Bluetooth 5.2, Type-C, USB 2.0, 2 mics, 4 speakers, ambient light, gravity, and hall sensors.
