According to the latest information coming from well known Weibo tipster, Huawei will no longer produce the 12GB RAM version of the Huawei Mate 40 RS Porsche Design. This means the company will keep the 8GB version in stock in the future.

Huawei Mate 40 RS Porsche Design: 12GB RAM

Every year, Huawei collaborates with Porsche to unveil a special edition of the Mate series flagship. Last October, Huawei unveiled the Huawei Mate 40 RS Porsche Design, a premium phone equipped with the power 5nm Kirin processor and a Penta camera setup as well as a temperature sensor.

Initially, this mega budge phone was launched with 12GB+256GB at a price of 11,999 yuan and 12GB+512GB at 12,999 yuan.

Huawei Mate 40 RS: 8GB RAM version

To increase its availability, in March this year, Huawei launched the 8GB version of this Mate flagship and listed this device with a price of 10,999 yuan for 8GB+256GB memory.

It’s a good Choice:

The decision could be taken in the face of reducing component stock and in the name of an issue that has occurred in the supply chain after the U.S. sanction. So, the Chinese tech giant may want to save the high memory components for the later to be released devices, yet we don’t have any official confirmation on this matter.
