Huawei triple foldable phone rumored to launch in September
Huawei triple foldable phone has been in launch rumors for a long while but it seems the company will end these talks in September. A new leak indicates that the Chinese phone maker could unveil the world’s first tri-fold handset in the next month.
Weibo tipster @FixedFocus hints that the Huawei triple foldable could go official in September. He uses the term “electronic Moutai” claiming that the upcoming folding device would be the most expensive Huawei product in the consumer market to date.
Moutai refers to a white (transparent) liquor in China. It is made from wheat-based sorghum and excellent water from the Chishui River. Known as Kweichow Moutai, It’s one of the most prestigious, and most expensive liquor brands in the world.
The tipster says that Huawei’s tri-fold phone appears as an electronic Moutai. It will pack advanced tech capabilities and impressive features alongside a high price value. One can expect to see the ultimate foldable device in the next month.
A few netizens responded to the leak saying that the foldable could be out of their range due to high pricing. Others noted that the company might drop down the rate after unveiling the device. Although things aren’t very clear in this concept.
The latest leak fits in line with a previous revelation that said the Huawei tri-folding handset has entered the production lane. The device is further said to launch ahead of the Mate 70 flagship. Perhaps, the tech giant is gearing up its triple foldable’s development and may officially introduce it in the coming weeks.
But Huawei has not confirmed the newest inputs yet. Hence, it would be better to wait for an official announcement on this matter and take this leak as a grain of salt.
With a tri-fold, Huawei will give a tough fight to foldable makers like Samsung in the market. It will also challenge Apple iPad products due to its amazing design and big size. However, a sky-touching price may create problems for the company in the future.
