Huawei is reportedly participating in the Red Sea Project of Saudi Arabia by providing significant FusionSolar solutions. The Chinese OEM will help in fulfilling the clean energy needs in the region, creating a sustainable and innovative destination.

Red Sea Project is a tourism destination project that aims to build vast hotels and residential properties by 2030. It is located on the west coast of Saudi Arabia and covers 28000 km. sq. area in Tabuk province, assuring clean and sustainable tourism.

As of now, Saudi Arabia is partnering up with Huawei for its FusionSolar solutions. Inputs reveal the Red Sea Project will build a photovoltaic-energy storage microgrid. This would be the world’s largest PV system with 400MW and 1.3GWh energy storage.

The particular system will probably require an efficient storage solution. Thus, Huawei will offer its FusionSolar Smart String Energy Storage Solution (ESS).

FusionSolar ESS is an efficient microgrid solution that acknowledges unstable solar and wind power. Thereafter, it treats the irregularity and ensures safer and more stable operations under the renewable energy system for effective results.

Huawei’s Thoughts:

Huawei Digital Power’s President for the Middle East and Central Asia Alex Xing had a small talk with Gulf Business recently. He stated a few lines on the Red Sea Project:

“The destination is poised to be the world’s first fully clean energy-powered destination, and Huawei is honored to participate in this project and help Saudi Arabia build a greener and better future through technological innovation.”

Alex further reports that the Red Sea’s Microgrid will be different from other techs as it owns renewable sources of energy. It doesn’t link with any other external grid.

Huawei always provides state-of-the-art power techs and generates grids via digital sync machines. With years of experience and in-depth learning, the OEM is capable of delivering such ambitious projects. For the Red Sea Project, Huawei’s commitment underlines sustainability, technological expertise, and collaboration.

The President also added:

“It’s a blueprint for sustainable cities. Through our collaboration with Red Sea Global, Huawei is leading the charge for a greener future, one microgrid at a time.”
