Huawei to also launch a new smartwatch alongside Watch GT 4 series

On September 14, Huawei will unveil a new set of wearables and a new teaser suggests that there could be a new smartwatch launch aside from the Huawei Watch GT 4 lineup.

The teaser video shows a smartwatch with a minimal unveiling. But a brightness exposure revealed a bit more about the outlook. I’ve compared the teaser appearance with the leaked Watch GT 4 46mm images.

In the comparison, I’ve found that the watch frame reflects major changes as compared to the 46mm version. The look is sporty and the frame has golden finishings for a stylized design.

The watch has buttons on the top left and right sides. The frame has a connected watch strap. But nothing is clear from this point of view because most of the design remains hidden. Overall, the outlook is not usual and it gives the vibes of the Huawei Watch GT 2 but hugely upgraded.

Past leak shows that the Huawei Watch GT 4 series comes in two sizes – 41mm and 46mm. The 41mm has three models and the 46mm has two models.

Currently, Huawei has not confirmed specific launch identities for the upcoming wearables but it’s certainly a new smartwatch that may come inside or separate from the Watch GT 4 lineup.
