Huawei tests Wi-Fi 7 on phone, 4X faster than Wi-Fi 6
In a recent Wi-Fi 7 speed test, Huawei has achieved massive results in download speed on smartphones exceeding 4.3Gbps. This is about 4X more than the predecessor and it could make a difference in user experience.
It is the world’s first enterprise-level Huawei Wi-Fi 7 AP AirEngine 8771-X1T. Also, the test includes Xiaomi 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro. According to the information, Xiaomi 13 Pro supports Wi-Fi 7 standards.
The test details reveal that a single connection’s download rate exceeds 4.3Gbps, which is twice as fast as Xiami 13 Pro with Wi-Fi 6 and faster than that of Wi-Fi 6. The iPhone 13 Pro has also seen changes in speed after connecting to the next gen Wi-Fi standard.
In addition to the aggregation rate, the average delay of Wi-Fi 6 protocol is 10ms and the average delay of three phones connected with Huawei Wi-Fi 7 AP is 4ms.
To be mentioned, Wi-Fi 7 is the seventh-generation Wi-Fi standard. It is corresponding to IEEE 802.11, which is about to release a new revised standard IEEE 802.11be.

To surpass, Wi-Fi 7 comes with new many new technical features based on Wi-Fi 6. Such as providing higher data transmission rates and lower latency.
It also brings MLO chip-level multi-channel connection technology for the first time. One of the greatest things about the Wi-Fi 7 standard is that you may find it similar to two highways transmitting signals together featuring greater throughput and avoiding network speed reduction, freezes, and dropped calls. Smartphones with Wi-Fi 7 can get two signal channels at a time and can simultaneously transmit data at high speed.
AirEngine 8771-X1T:
Huawei’s first enterprise-class Wi-Fi 7 Ap comes with ultra-strong performance with a device rate of up to 18.67 Gbps. It equips 10GE hybrid optical electrical port 300 m long-distance PoE++.
It provides an ultra-superior experience featuring on-demand 6 Ghz/5 GHz switching and built-in dynamic zoom smart antennas.
