Huawei strengthens cooperation with Indonesia cyber security

Huawei is deepening its collaboration with Indonesia cyber security and provide its knowledge and resources to empower local security arrangements. On 28th September, Huawei Indonesia, BSSN (National Cyber ​​Security Agency), and IT Del Information Technology Institute carried out the signing ceremony in Jakarta.

Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei, CEO of Huawei Indonesia Mr. Chen Min, President of Huawei Asia Pacific Liu Hongyun, and Minister of Indonesian Maritime Affairs and Investment Coordination Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan marked the collaboration agreement.

Since 2019, the Chinese giant and Indonesian cyber ​​security have jointly conducted a number of activities including training, web seminars, and some collective project. To date, more than 7,000 employees of government and civil sectors have attended and receive benefits from it.

During the signing ceremony, Indonesian Minister emphasizes that Huawei’s powerful and advanced technologies are quite popular in the country. Simultaneously, it’s working to contribute to the country’s digital infrastructure, and talents to welcome the green and smart future.

On the other hand, Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei deems that Indonesia has a great potential for promoting “intelligentization” in everyday operations. Furthermore, the 5G, AI, wireless, and radar technologies are applicable in filed such as coal mines to higher safety standards. Moreover, the Chinese tech firm acknowledges the country’s long-term support for the team.
