Huawei Kirin chips no longer seem a secret topic. The latest information suggests that Huawei offline stores introducing the Kirin 9000 series chips for smartphones and tablets publicly. They can now mention the processor when describing the device.

As @FixedFocus noted, Huawei offline stores started promoting Kirin 9000 series chips publicly. But this promotion seems limited to a few processors for the moment.

For instance, Huawei store staff can now mention the Kirin 9010 chip while selling the Pura 70 Ultra. They can also promote the Kirin 9000s for Mate 60 Pro publicly.

The company has earlier restricted its offline stores from mentioning the Kirin chip while selling a Huawei product, so far. It also stopped promoting its self-developed processors on the device’s page over its official websites for a certain period.

A major reason behind hiding this detail could be tough U.S. sanctions. Huawei is already under the eyes of foreign authorities for advanced chipmaking. Perhaps, hiding the chip details might be a measure to avoid the U.S. pressure to some extent.

However, the tipster says that Huawei offline stores are now free to talk on the processor topic. He further states that Kirin 9000 series chips are showing up on the phones and tablets promotion page for global consumers (only a few websites).

Other chips in the Kirin 9000 family include Kirin 9010E, 9010L, 9000S1, 9000W, 9000WL, 9000WE, and more. Although the company may soon introduce a powerful processor with the upcoming Huawei Mate 70 flagship lineup.

The current scenario shows that Huawei Kirin chip production volume is in stable mode, as per the tipster. He adds that the yield rate seems to be improved and the company looks ready for all the possible risks or issues that may arise in the future.

With this, we can expect that Huawei could officially talk about the next-gen Kirin chip at the Mate 70 series launch event. Although it’s just a speculation for now.

An early prediction by a tipster said that Huawei will almost break away from sanction chains by 2025 (Read the full story HERE). Looking at the ongoing conditions, it seems that the company might turn this assumption into a reality soon.
