Huawei starts Mate XT tri-fold’s first sale

On September 20, the Huawei Mate XT triple foldable phone hit its first sale. The innovative device is available on the official VMall stores in three storage variants. Consumers can visit the site to purchase the model and choose related services.

After the reservation activity, Huawei opened the Mate XT for sale. During the pre-order activity, more than 6 million users booked the device. Being the first tri-fold, Mate XT received immense attention and consumer support right after its launch.

Now the triple foldable is on sale. Huawei has only kept the Red-Gold color variant (16GB + 256GB) on sale whereas, the other storage variants and the Dark Black version will be available today at 19:08. You can check the price details below:

Specifications

The world’s first triple-foldable adopts a clean and beautiful design. It is wrapped in plain leather and provides a star-diamond look. The vein lines on the hinge and edges in gold shade give a more classy and luxurious feel to the tri-fold phone.

Mate XT’s dimension and display parameters are quite different than a regular dual foldable. It has three screens: single screen (6.4-inch), double screen (7.9-inch), and third screen (10.2-inch). The resolution and other dimensions are:

• Single Screen (2232 x 1008 pixels): 73.5 mm wide, 12.8 mm thick
• Double Screen (2232 x 2048 pixels): 143.0 mm wide, 7.45 mm/4.75 mm thick

These are LTPO OLED screens featuring a 90Hz refresh rate, a 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, a 240Hz maximum touch response, 1.07 billion colors, a P3 wide color gamut, and multi-touch which supports up to 10 touch points.

Mate XT has a triple-camera setup with a 50MP main shooter, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP periscope sensor with 5.5x optical zoom. The front side holds an 8MP selfie snapper with various interesting photo and video shooting models.

The device runs on HarmonyOS 4.2 and is said to equip Kirin 9010. It has a 5600mAh thinnest battery with 66W fast charging, 5W wired reserve charging, 50W wireless charging, and 7.5W wireless reverse charging. It supports AI features like a content editor, AI Info consultant, AI translation expert, and Photo Editor.
