Huawei sponsored European Innovation Day 2022 for advanced digitalization and more

Today, Huawei continues its sponsorship for the European Innovation Day 2022 too in Budapest Hungary. The event’s objectives are to show how innovative technology may be increasingly digitalized, migrate to green energy, preserve biodiversity, and cultivate talent with its partners.

The event’s slogan is “Innovate for Diverse Europe. Here in the event, Huawei demonstrated its 5G demo truck, with a variety of 5G use cases for various industrial applications, including logistics, ports, and mining.

However, the Minister of foreign affairs said that Hungary has prevailed in the struggle for big-ticket investments by Huawei and R&D center in Budapest. Meanwhile, this strategic partnership, which was established ten years ago, has substantially benefited both sides, and the Hungarian government is prepared to continue this partnership with Huawei

Jeff Wang, President of the Public Affairs and Communications Department at Huawei, stated that:

While the process of innovation is full of uncertainty, as our path to the future, one thing is certain: innovation will be crucial to realize our sustainable future. We look forward to working with our partners to create a smarter, greener and sustainable Europe.”

• Green Energy Transition: The Partners has collaborated on a white paper for the future of the Hungarian power sector with a shared vision for the green energy economy.
• 5G Enables Innovation for a Smart Europe: In Europe, a lot of cutting-edge 5G-powered solutions come from Huawei, attempting to solve an issue that has effects on the social, environmental, and economic front.
• Talent Development and Biodiversity Conservation: Huawei and Hungary signed a collaboration to promote ICT education seeds for the future Scholarship program. In the past two years, the seeds for the future Scholarship have given a total of 5 million euros to nearly 1,000 students from 12 different countries in Europe.
