Huawei Sound Joy 2 allegedly spotted in live images before official release
Huawei Sound Joy 2 is expected to launch next month and ahead of that the device has allegedly appeared in live images. The current pictures give a slight idea of how the next-generation portable speaker is different from the previous model.
A Weibo tipster shared live images of a Huawei speaker, claiming it to be Sound Joy 2. The device seems quite identical to its predecessors and bears the same cylindrical shape. But it has a new Huawei logo embedded on the side and upper parts.
Instead of Devialet, the new device shows the Huawei Sound logo on the top head. The speaker is wrapped in a 3D rubber-like material. It will likely come in two colors: Lime Green and Black. There could also be a blue color on the variants list.
Further details reveal that the upper section of the device is separable and has adjustable lights. Other parameters include a push button and a USB-C charging port.
Another leak notes the internal parameters of the device. The Sound Joy 2 could weigh 702 grams with an IP67 dustproof and waterproof rating. It may support a 4-unit Huawei Sound system with better audio capabilities for an immersive experience.
The device might feature the same battery as the Sound Joy – 8800mAh with 26 hours of playback. The rest of the features are still unknown. However, Huawei may add some goodies-like features to boost the device to a greater extent.
An early report said that the Chinese OEM could unveil the Sound Joy 2 in September. Adding more details to this matter, a tipster recently said that Huawei could launch the second-gen Sound Joy alongside Nova 13 series and new wearables.
Huawei has yet to confirm these inputs. Also, the company didn’t comment on the leaked images so far. Hence, it is better to take this news with a grain of salt for now.
