Huawei and SITA launched first innovation center to accelerate ICT talent growth

Huawei and SITA (IT business group for the South African government) have jointly launched the first stage of the innovation center in the country. This establishment will help the cooperations to accelerate the ICT talent and the growth of digital transformation.

The main aim of the Huawei-SITA innovation center is to foster the development of Information and Communication Technology among the operators. Back in time, Huawei assured the SITA cooperation to encourage ICT skills in the region. To turn its words into reality, the Chinese tech giant took the thoughtful initiative.

Consequently, Huawei will facilitate its rich experience and transformative skills development to the space government. Moreover, this will also help in the National Development Plan 2030 and the 4IR strategy of the country. And as President Cyril Ramaphosa said, “the innovation center is a new opportunity to change the way we live, learn, work and govern”.
