Huawei shares the story and inspiration behind Mate 60 series color composition

Today, Huawei Huawei CBG Chief Operating Officer, He Gang shared the story of crafting of Huawei Mate 60 series color options. This is quite interesting as the company brought in many factors and took inspiration to forge new colors.

Huawei recently unveiled the Huawei Mate 60 Series in China and the company has brought this flagship in four beautiful colors. These include Yachuan Green, Baisha Silver, Nannuo Purple, and Yadan Black (translated names from Chinese). Huawei CBG COO revealed that these colors are inspired by the color palette of the earth, rivers, and mountains.

Green:

The color of this model is taken from the Brahmaputra River, which originates from the Himalayas and flows through Tibet. The unique fiber material on the rear side gives the phone a visual resemblance of the earth’s texture and water-flowing effect in connection with light and shadow.

Silver:

This model is inspired by sound mountains and reflects the style of mountains covered with white and soft fine sand.

Purple:

The purple color option of Huawei Mate 60 reflects Nannuo Mountain, which is famous in China and abroad as an ancient tea mountain. The fresh tea leaves of the purple bud tea tree on the mountain are purple. That’s how the Huawei Mate 60 series took its spiritual inspiration of purple color to make the phone appear mysterious and noble.

Black:

The color inspiration comes directly from a place called “Heidu Mountain”. It is a mysterious land and shows the beautiful black color compositions of the surface formed by the atmosphere.

With this interesting story of the color options, Huawei COO expect that the Mate 60 series is the perfect tribute to the beauty of these mountain and rivers.

On August 29, Huawei launched the Mate 60 Pro in China, and the next day, the company also listed the standard version of this device. The outlook of the phone is catching the attention of the consumers.
