Huawei shares HarmonyOS native game features and enhancements
Huawei is going to exhibit HarmonyOS native game apps on July 26 and ahead of that, the company has shared some significant features of the new gaming world. The list counts some interesting tools, functions, as well as useful enhancements.
The Chinese phone maker has announced new HarmonyOS native game features on the HarmonyOS Weibo account. As per the inputs, the OEM has added an end-to-cloud combination, AI super-resolution, smoother game streaming, and more.
Let’s learn about these features in more detail.
End-to-Cloud Combination (Native Smoothness)
HarmonyOS NEXT aims to make the applications smoother than ever. It uses an upgraded Ark Engine that connects with the software, hard core, and cloud at the system level. This Engine comprises motion effects, end-cloud combination, and GPUTurbo.
As a result, the gaming app becomes efficient and can easily handle heavy gaming scenarios. It ensures better energy-saving while making the experience more enjoyable.
AI super-resolution (Native Intelligence)
Huawei is also using AI super-resolution in the making of HarmonyOS native game apps. This technology makes the app smarter and easier to use. When playing, the capability reduces power consumption and improves frame rate and resolution.
The cloud rendering can operate over 1 billion rays per second, making the smartphone game equivalent to PC-level picture quality.
Native Connectivity
HarmonyOS NEXT-based apps can easily adapt to multiple devices. They can seamlessly switch between devices with natural and innovative interaction. One can swap HarmonyOS native games on phones, tablets, smart TVs, car computers, and more.
Overall, these features explain that the HarmonyOS-based games will offer better visuals, effective and fluent transfer, and power-saving capabilities to consumers. Users would be able to use their phone as a controller to play high-end games.
The flagship devices with a multi-device task center can even run apps in the background while playing their favorite game. You can check more details in this video.
Huawei has currently listed only three main segments of the HarmonyOS native game apps. Although we may find more of these at the ChinaJoy event on July 26.
