Huawei scored well in 2023 Chinese smartphone market while Apple ranked first
Huawei has made a good comeback in the Chinese smartphone market 2023 with the innovative 5G handsets although, Apple is still sitting in the top position. A new report says the American tech giant ranked first in China’s phone market.
Despite the increasing growth of Chinese tech vendors like Huawei in the native smartphone market, Apple remained the strongest candidate in 2023. The iPhone maker achieved the first spot with an annual sales of 47.747 million.
Notably, the iPhone 14, 13, and 12 series count as the most in-demand models among Chinese consumers. Besides, the price reduction for these handsets in recent times has significantly attracted customers in the native market.
Apple also holds a market share of 17%, the highest grade in the listing. Next comes Vivo and OPPO with a 16.6 and 15.8% market share, respectively. The report further shows Honor at fourth, Xiaomi at fifth, and Huawei at the sixth position.
Speaking of the Mate 60 developer, the company bears a market share of 12% with an annual sales of 32.407 million units. Huawei is gradually pacing in the Chinese smartphone market race and we could see it in the top three places this year.
A major reason behind Huawei’s comeback is the reintroduction of the Kirin chipset with the Mate 60 series. The ultimate lineup gave a new boost to the company’s sales revenue. Meanwhile, the tech giant is readying another big hit for 2024 in the form of the Huawei P70 series.
Huawei P70 Series:
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted that the upcoming P-series will increase the Huawei sales revenue by 150% YoY. The device is likely to use the advanced tech solutions that will make it stand at the top in the premium smartphone market.
Since the gap between the results of tech vendors isn’t much, anyone could surprisingly come out in the time ahead. And this time, there is a high chance for Huawei to grow up in the Chinese smartphone market with flying colors.
