Huawei restores Mate 40E 5G sale in China, features Kirin 990E chip

Huawei has recently restored the Huawei Mate 40E 5G smartphone sale on the Chinese e-commerce site JD.com. This Kirin-powered smartphone was previously removed from the listing due to stock issues.

The Huawei Mate 40E 5G sale starts at 4599 yuan (628 USD) for 8GB+128GB version and the 256GB storage version is priced at 5099 yuan (696 USD). Huawei Mate 40E uses a 6.5-inch 68-degree curved screen, a single-hole screen on the front, and a circular camera bump on the back.

This phone is equipped with a Kirin 990E 5G core, which is built on the 7nm+ EUV process and integrates a 5G baseband. It also supports SA and NSA 5G dual-mode, adapting to the 5G/4G/3G/2G of the three major domestic operators.

It is composed of a Cortex A76 large core + Cortex A55 energy efficiency core. The CPU frequency is up to 2.86GHz, and the GPU is a 14-core Mali-G76. It can easily control large-scale 3D games and run smoothly and naturally.

Huawei Mate 40E has a rear super-sensing Leica imaging module, including a 64MP wide-angle main camera, 8MP telephoto, and 16MP ultra-wide angle. The battery is 4200mAh and supports 40W wired and 40W wireless flash charging.
