Huawei reportedly resolve its patent disputes with Samsung
Huawei and its arch-rival Samsung have reportedly settled their decade long patent infringement disputes in a local court in Guangdong, China.

According to a report from state-run CCTV, Huawei and Samsung have reached a global settlement in a series of infringement disputes involving standard-essential patents, and framework license agreement on the issue of standard-essential patent’s cross-licensing globally.
The relevant lawsuits filed by both sides in a global level has been resolved in a package, followed by events such as withdrawal of relevant cases has been done in recent days.
Since 2011, both tech giants have held several cross-licensing negotiations, as well as filed over 40 lawsuits against each other globally regarding communication technologies and smartphone software.
