Huawei renovates split screen bookmarking

Huawei recently pushed a new software update for HarmonyOS devices and it comes with a new split-screen bookmarking feature, which is innovating and changes the entire split-screen concept.

According to the information, Huawei brought the new split screen bookmarking concept with a save layout combo feature. This allows you to save the layout and the position of two apps and launch it anytime from the home screen.

First, the user needs to create split-screen apps, to do so, open an app and drag the home screen bar from the bottom of the screen. This will take you to the opening of opening the split screen.

Now, you need to choose the second option to enable a split-screen view.

Afterward, you can tap on the three dots on the separate line, this will show two options “Save combo” and Flip top/bottom. The first option will save the combination of the split screen to your home screen.

This bookmarking feature will allow you re-launch the app group from the Huawei smartphone’s home screen with one tap. You can conveniently delete the app combination shortcut by removing the combo icon from the home screen.

Currently, this feature is only available for HarmonyOS-powered smartphones but it’s a unique new way for users to reduce hassle while managing split-screen bookmarking.
