Huawei releases latest software update for Enjoy 10S with added functions

Last week, Huawei released a software update for Huawei Enjoy 10S devices, which installed the security patch released in February 2021 for improved system security.

Now, in the same month, the company has started sending another firmware update for this smartphone that added new functions in the system. [Full changelog below]

New EMUI Version: Huawei Enjoy 10S smartphone receiving EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.0.166 upgrading from 10.1.0.159.

According to the latest changelog, a new cloud folder added on the main screen to intelligently recommend popular and selected applications for you and introduces a new smart information setting item to bring you a richer display of text messages.

CHANGELOG:

• Cloud Folder: Added a new popular recommendation folder on the desktop to intelligently recommend popular and selected applications for you.
• Information: Added a new smart information setting item to bring you a richer display of text messages.

Things to know:

• The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
  EMUI version and size may vary.
• Maintain enough battery and storage on your device.

HOW TO UPDATE:

Download via Settings:

• Open Settings
• Click on the System & Updates
• Open Software update
• Tap on Check for updates option
• If an update is available, click on Download and install
• After installation Reboot the device

Download via Support app:

• Open the Support app on your device
• Go to the Service tab
• Click on the update button
• Tap on Check for update option
• If an update is available, click on Download and install
• After installation Reboot the device

What about EMUI 11 for this device?

As of now, EMUI 11 is the only thing that every Huawei smartphone users want to install to experience new users interface and features. The Huawei Enjoy 10S is also eligible to get this major upgrade but the company has not made any announcement related to this.
