Huawei registered two TV operating system trademarks

According to the latest news, Huawei has listed two more smart TV Operating systems (TVOS) in the company’s software copyright registration approval information on 21st May 2021.

This smart TV OS has a single-platform software version and dual-platform software version, which are internally known as TVOS-H and TVOS-C.

At present, both system software is on the v1.0 version and has the registration number 2021SR0744159 and 2021SR0744160 respectively.

Furthermore, the Science and Technology Department of the State Administration of Radio, Film, and Television, and the Electronic Information Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in China released these TVOS.

To be mentioned, Huawei Technology, HiSilicon, and Alibaba Group are jointly working on these systems since last December. The working group was officially anchored on 30th December 2020.

At present, the group has been developed the TVOS 4.0 with more enhanced benefits over the last version 3.X. Moreover, the main aim of the TVSO to realize supports up to 512M memory terminals or even higher than this.

The benefits coms with this latest version can be defined in the following terms-

• It has a Python application framework
• It can provide support for 8K Ultra HD TV
• More improved voice control, and freedom of multiple remote controls
• It supports 512 memory terminals
