Huawei Pura 80 may use 6000mAh battery and enhanced camera setup
Huawei Pura 80 series could unlock new surprises for consumers like a jumbo battery and an innovative camera system. A new leak hints that the next flagship lineup will feature a new customized lens module and a powerful cell.
Weibo tipster @SmartPikachu says the Huawei Pura 80 series may debut with a big 6000mAh battery. It will probably use a higher-density cell than its predecessor.
The Pura 70 Ultra packs a 5200mAh cell with a 100W charging capacity. Other variants like the Pro and standard use a 5050mAh and 4900mAh cell respectively. In that case, the Pura 80 series may arrive as a game changer in this segment.
A higher-density battery ensures that the device lasts longer despite its use. It provides intense power for heavy tasks like gaming, multi-tasking, watching videos, and more. It can easily store electric energy, avoiding the need to charge it frequently.
It’s perfect for those who love gaming or watch high-quality videos in their leisure time. Since Huawei has used high-density batteries for many of its smartphones, we could expect it for the Pura 80 series smartphones.
The tipster further mentioned a “technologically innovative” camera module for the Pura 80 series. Huawei is rumored to adopt the newest main lens and periscope sensor for its next flagship. It is teaming up with major lens suppliers on this subject.
The Chinese phone maker is also allegedly testing a multi-focal periscope lens with better zooming capabilities. It may enable users to capture more detailed shots from a far distance with higher image quality.
Other inputs add a side-mounted fingerprint sensor to the speculation list. Huawei may continue to use the same unlocking methods of the Mate 70 for the Pura 80 series. However, there won’t be any 3D face recognition system.
This is just the beginning of the Pura 80 series leaks and rumors. We may soon hit more details of the upcoming lineup in the time ahead.
