Huawei Pura 70 series boosts 125% yearly shipment over P60 devices
A Huawei Insider has revealed that Pura 70 series shipment volume increased by 125% YoY over P60. It seems the flagship lineup is performing well in the Chinese consumer market. Perhaps it may soon achieve its 10 million unit shipments target.
SINA Technology on Weibo reports that as of July 16, the Huawei Pura 70 series shipment volume surged by 125%YoY compared to the P60 lineup launched last year.
The input is quite in line with Kuo’s prediction for the Pura 70 series. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo expected a mass shipment of these models in the first half of this year. He also said that new 5G Kirin chips will lead to 100% YoY shipment growth than P60.
It further verifies a previous leak regarding the Huawei Pura 70 series shipment to some extent. It was said that the lineup is on the verge of exceeding 2 million units in sales. While the company hasn’t confirmed it, the latest input gives consent to it.

With the launch of Pura 70 models, many analysts predicted its overall shipment for this year. TechInsights stated that Huawei sold over 6.2 million Mate 60 Pro units within 5 months of its release. Yet the figure could double for Pura lineup this year.
The flagship Pura 70 models are expected to ship more than 10 million units in 2024. Analysts indicated that the new lineup will continue the trend of Mate 60 handsets in the market and appear as a major focal point among consumers over time.
Huawei Pura 70 series brings four models on board: Standard, Pro, Pro+, and Ultra. Out of these variants, the Pro+ and Ultra handsets support dual satellite communication (two-way SMS and calling). The Ultra device also brings a retractable lens, enhancing the overall photography experience for consumers.
All four models run on Kirin 5G chips that are mainly the derivatives of 9000s. Though the Pura 70 Ultra uses the Kirin 9010 processor which has optimized performance cores. Other features for all models include a tri-lens structure, HarmonyOS 4.2, impressive colors, and more.
