Huawei Pura 70 Pro back panel leak shows black variant with periscope camera
Huawei Pura 70 series launch is around the corner while a new back panel leak of the Pura 70 Pro is here, showing more interesting angles of this smartphone lineup. It further sheds light on the robust rear camera module in a gleaming black appearance.
A Weibo tipster has now shared the back panel image of the Huawei Pura 70 Pro handset. The device reveals a lustrous black shade with a wider camera framework.
But the highlight of this leak is the lens arrangement, which appears slightly different from what we have seen in the standard variant’s leaked back cover.
Pura 70 Pro: Camera
Huawei Pura 70 Pro camera module shows three lens openings with one large ring in the center and two others on the top and bottom creating a triangular shape. These rings are covered with a silver ring while the module also shows the XMAGE logo.
Unlike the predecessor, which has the main camera sensor at the center, the Pura 70 series seems to have the periscope lens in the middle this time. The other two rings with different lens opening sizes – small at the top and large at the bottom could be for ultra-wide angle and primary shooters, respectively.
The camera framework also houses a pill-shaped LED Flash between the two small rings. The Pro variant doesn’t seem much different from the standard Pura 70 handset in terms of back appearance. The opening sizes and shapes are quite similar.
Yet the contrast lies in color scheming and the size of the Pura 70 Pro’s camera bump, which is a bit wider and bolder than the base version.
Some early reports suggested that all the models in the upcoming Pura 70 series would carry the same 1.5K screen with a single-centered punch-hole design. Although there could be noteworthy changes in the Pura 70 Ultra outlook over its siblings.
Camera Specs:
Pura 70 Pro is likely to use a 50MP OV50H main camera sensor with upgraded variable aperture technology. While the ultra-wide angle lens parameter is still uncertain for the respective device, the phone may adopt a 12MP periscope lens.
Other features include an enhanced Periscope Macro mode that will focus on optimizing the optical zoom range and close-up shots. Perhaps we have to wait for a few more hours to confirm these configurations for the approaching smartphones.
