Huawei published a fast charging pile patent for electric cars
Today, Huawei has published a new patent to provide charging power for electric cars. As per the information, the Huawei patent is entitled “a charging pile and control method”. The aim behind the innovation of this patent is to increase the charging speed and reduce the charging time.
For a long time, the Chinese maker is developing the vehicle technology and securing them in the form of patents. On the other hand, Huawei has several denies to building its own vehicles and aimed to become the leading automobile technology supplier in the market.
According to the latest information, Huawei is planning to develop a new electric SUV in partnership with SERES. It was also reported that entering the EV business could become an important new growth area for Huawei.
Patent description:
Following the Huawei patent document, it is found that the charging pile includes a power conversion circuit for providing charging power for an electric vehicle and a controller for obtaining the temperature of the charging pile.
When the temperature of the charging pile is less than or equal to a preset value and when the temperature threshold is set, the charging power is controlled to be greater than the full-load power. Also, when the temperature of the charging pile is greater than the preset temperature threshold, the charging power is controlled to be the full-load power.
When the temperature of the charging pile is less than or equal to the preset temperature threshold, the charging pile is controlled to charge the electric vehicle with a charging power greater than the full load power.
Larger charging power for charging, increasing the charging speed. When the temperature rises above a preset temperature threshold, the electric vehicle is charged at a smaller full-load power.
The minimum charging power provided by the application is full load power, and the average charging power during the charging process is larger than the traditional charging power. It increases the charging speed and shortens the charging time.
