Huawei Pocket S2 foldable tipped to use Kirin 9000s processor
Huawei Pocket S2 is likely to make its debut the next month and a new leak hints that this foldable will power up with the Kirin 9000s processor. This implementation could bring improved performance and new 5G capabilities for the upcoming folding gadget.
Tipster @SmartPikachu said that the new Huawei Pocket S2 vertical foldable is suspected to use the Kirin 9000s chipset. Though the leak doesn’t highlight more details, it hints that the approaching device will accompany seamless functioning.
Huawei has brought the Kirin chipsets back to life with the Mate 60 Pro. The device equips an octa-core Kirin 9000s 7nm processor with the Maleoon 910 MP4 GPU. Notably, the company has not promoted this element officially at launch events. Yet, it significantly gathered the center stage in the market.

Earlier, we reported that the Chinese tech maker has a variety of unreleased devices that adopt the Kirin 9000s chipset. Marking stamp on this matter, the company unveiled the Nova 12 series with a downclocked version of the Kirin 9000s. It looks like one more model probably foldable, could soon join this category.
Huawei Pocket S2:
The new flip-flop model could bring a triple-lens arrangement at the rear side. Folding the device will turn the same backside lens into a selfie camera for new capturing. Meanwhile, the external screen will be a useful preview section where you can opt for certain operations.
Another eye-catching segment related to the new folding device is – it will bring improved drop resistance capability to the table. Besides, it will be identical to its predecessor in terms of appearance but with a brand-new rear cover.
Further, a few reports predicted that the Huawei Pocket S2 will run a slow-down version of the Kirin 5G chipset with effective 5G connectivity. Although we may find more changes on this matter in the coming weeks.
