Huawei Pocket 2 gets June 2024 firmware with camera and theme enhancements

Huawei Pocket 2 foldable users are now getting the June 2024 firmware with a few camera and external screen theme enhancements. The rollout is gradually reaching users and will take some days to cover all the eligible units in the region.

Pocket 2 has already fetched the stable HarmonyOS 4.2 upgrade with a lot of new features. The list counts an anti-false alarm clock, an upgraded theme section, a new Bluetooth device recording switch, and some more useful improvements.

Now Huawei Pocket 2 is getting another set of improvements with the June 2024 firmware. The update is rolling out with the HarmonyOS 4.2.0.150 version. The package size details are missing but we suggest keeping at least 1GB of free storage.

As per the changelog, the update brings some new themes such as cute animals and various clock styles for the external screen. The firmware also improves the camera performance alongside wide-angle as well as backlight scenarios.

The official upgrade plan says that Huawei will roll out the HarmonyOS 4.2 upgrade to several old flagship models this month. For instance, the Mate 40 series, Mate 30 devices, Nova 11, and more. Hence if you have not received the major upgrade then keep patience and check for the newest builds on the system settings of your handset.
