Huawei is planning to stock at least 10 million Mate 60 series units, revealed an input regarding the phone’s component supply. This also shows that the company has a big demand from consumers and is looking to fulfill it.

Tipster FixedFocus is saying that the current stock capacity of the Huawei Mate 60 series is no less than 10 million units. The tipster shared the details that the company has ordered 10 million satellite chips. Also, this is only for the initial stock of such chipsets.

Interestingly, all 10 million units of the Huawei Mate 60 series are projected to sell out. This reflects that the sales volume of the Huawei Mate 60 series is higher than the past generations.

At the Autumn 2023 launch conference, Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO, Yu Chengdong said that Huawei is working hard to increase mass production. The company wants to ensure that most of the consumers can buy the new Huawei Mate 60 series devices.

Late in August, Huawei launched the Mate 60 Pro in China. The phone went on sale without even a launch conference. This announcement shocked most people because Huawei usually releases such devices at a big showcase event.

However, the response from consumers was very overwhelming and we’ve seen big queues outside Huawei Stores to buy the new Huawei Mate 60 Pro. Gradually, Huawei released all models of the lineup including – standard Mate 60, Mate 60 Pro+, and Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design. The Pro and Ultimate Design models use satellite chips to conduct calling via satellite without a mobile network.

Huawei began 2023 with a shipment target of 30 million smartphones, later revised to 40 million. With the success of the Huawei Mate 60 series, Huawei could further scale the shipment goal for this year.
