Huawei phone users awaits wide EMUI 13 beta
Huawei smartphone users are waiting for a new major software upgrade and they’ve eyes locked on the active EMUI 13 beta activity. However, the beta campaign is currently expanding at a snail’s speed.
This is raising the wait bar for the users because there’s a rush to grab a test slot in the Huawei EMUI 13 beta train. Especially, many of our readers from Europe want to know about the roadmap, which remains unconfirmed for the moment.
Last month, Huawei surprisingly began EMUI 13 beta for South East Asia users. This includes Malaysia and the Philippines. However, there’s no activity noted for Europe or other regions.
Initially, Huawei chose past flagship phones for the EMUI 13 experiments. These are – Huawei Mate Xs 2, Huawei P50 Pocket, and Huawei P50 Pro. The corresponding phoned comes with pre-installed EMUI 12. Therefore, these are also the first eligible phones to enter the beta pool.
Following a successful signup, Huawei released the first EMUI 13 beta for selected applicants. However, the slots were limited due to the closed testing environment.
According to the changelog, the first beta has software version 13.0.0.212log, and the update package lands at a massive 6.22GB.
Second batch:
A few days ago, Huawei opened EMUI 13 beta for Huawei Nova 10 and Nova 10 Pro. Once again, these are also limited to Malaysian consumers. For now, the registration status for these devices is pending.
All together?
Looking at past trends, Huawei may open EMUI 13 test sessions for other regions altogether. This will lead to a wide release of the software. Still, the time to grab the upgrade still depends on Huawei’s decision.
The reason to Install EMUI 13 totally described by its new features. The addition of service widgets group, stacking, and animation improvements will improve the user experience.
So, we would be way too grateful if Huawei delivers the EMUI 13 OTA as soon as possible.
