Huawei patent new ChatGPT like reply software
Recently, a number of Huawei patents have surfaced online, which show the company’s human-to-AI conversation system, similar to the current most popular AI reply software, ChatGPT.
ChatGPT is “an AI-powered chatbot developed by OpenAI, based on the GPT (Generative Pretrained Transformer) language model. It uses deep learning techniques to generate human-like responses to text inputs in a conversational manner.
Although, it’s not the first time Huawei has patented such technology but these two below-mentioned practices are the ones to construct software similar to ChatGPT. According to the information, these patents are described as a “man to computer conversation system”.
Let’s look into the details.
First patent:
This patent technology is used to detect input behavior.
This application relates to artificial intelligence (AI) technology and provides a process for man-machine conversation. In work: the system acquires the first user sentence input by the user, wherein the first user sentence indicates the first user behavior.
In the case that the user has abnormal behavior, the dialog system can recognize but cannot execute, identify the reason why the abnormal behavior cannot be executed, and generate a first reply statement to reply to the abnormal behavior, wherein, the first reply sentence is used to prompt the reason why the first user behavior cannot be executed.
Or, if it cannot be recognized by the dialog system, the system will identify the user intention according to the first user sentence, and generate a reply to the abnormal behavior in the second reply sentence, wherein, the second reply sentence is used to prompt that the dialog system does not support the user’s intention. These behaviors are likely to be trained into the model ahead of use.
Second patent:
This patent showcase, how the AI-to-human response system would work. This patent technology includes a device and computer-readable storage medium for man and software conversation. Once activated, the software will analyze the preset text library in the model.
After receiving the input, it will look for the background information used to generate the response during the conversation. According to the input information and the background information, it will determine the response text corresponding to the asked question.
This will help the system to conduct a natural and smooth communication between the software and the user, and will also improve the user experience. Currently, we don’t have any input on the use case of any of these patents but who knows, what Huawei may be planning with such tech.
