Huawei P70 series tipped to use single front-facing lens and larger rear camera bump

News regarding the Huawei P70 series hints that the upcoming flagship might feature a single front-facing lens. The new smartphone lineup is also expected to adopt a larger camera bump than some of its rivals in the franchise.

According to the tipster @FixedFocus, Huawei is likely to use a single front-facing lens for the P70 series, just like its predecessors. This means that the next P-series could skip the 3D facial recognition setup, found in the Mate 60 Pro phones.

On the other hand, the information reveals that the top-end models in the P70 lineup are likely to feature a larger camera bump with three lenses, than Apple iPhone 15 Pro handsets. However, the specific appearance of these models is uncertain.

Some previous reports claimed that Huawei may slightly enhance the optical structure of the next P-series phones rather than giving it a completely new makeover. Perhaps, the changes would mainly appear in terms of size and shape.
