Huawei P70 series rumored to use enhanced camera lenses, 1.5K screen, and Kirin chip

Huawei P70 series continues to be a part of rumors and a new leak hints that the next flagship will accompany enhanced camera lenses, a significant 1.5K display with better PWM dimming rates, a Kirin chip, and improved satellite connectivity features.

Weibo tipster @SmartPikachu said that the Huawei P70 series will use excellent camera specs. All three lenses of the premium P-lineup are likely to be the outsole camera solution with impressive features and powerful capabilities.

Such optical solutions help in the intake of more light for higher image quality. In addition, the post reads that the Chinese tech giant will use a new large main camera sensor for P70 handsets with completely refined functions. While the periscope lens will offer 4x zoom facilities for effective macro capturing.

Further, the tipster said that the P70 will feature an all-new 1.5K micro-curved screen with proficient PWM dimming rates. Apart from camera aspects, we may find Kirin chips and optimized satellite connectivity for the Huawei P70 series on board.

Notably, all these specifications are spinning in the rumors category. Perhaps, an official confirmation of these details is still awaited. However, the company won’t miss any chance to make the next P-series the ultimate premium lineup of the 2024 smartphone market.

Huawei P70 Series and its Cameras:

The Chinese tech maker is focusing on such optical elements that can make the P70 series unique on the ground. For the standard variant, Huawei is testing an Omnivision OV50H main camera sensor. Whereas, the other top-end members might sport a 1-inch large IMX 989 sensor.

Both these sensors aim to provide higher dynamic range photos with better low-light imaging. At the same time, these focus on reducing noise and elevating the vibrance aspects for a perfect, clearer, and detailed shot.

Hybrid Lens:

The company is testing new sensors for each model in the P70 lineup. The Art model may equip an IMX 989 sensor along with a glass-plastic hybrid lens which will help in clicking profound shots.

Meanwhile, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that the P70 series will power up with an upgraded ultra-wide angle to eliminate diffraction issues and obtain infinity focus to capture clean moments from far distance. Last but not least, a 100mm periscope lens with 4x zoom capabilities is also on the list.

Several things are in a workaround. Although we need to hold our excitement till the official launch, which is expected around March 2024.
