Huawei P70 high-end models could equip overclocked Kirin 9000s chip

Huawei has the brand-new P70 series in the works and some latest inputs suggest that the high-end models of this lineup could equip overclocked Kirin 9000s chipsets. Eventually, the processor segment continues to be a curious point for these handsets.

Tipster @FixedFocus has shared a new highlight on Weibo saying that the new small foldable (Pocket S2) and the standard P70 phone will use the Kirin 9000s processor. Meanwhile, an overclocked version of the Kirin 9000s could appear with the Huawei P70 Pro and Art models.

Some relevant information says that an alleged Kirin 9000SH chipset is in the workarounds with overclocked performance cores. Though its specs remain a secret, the details hint that the chip can boost performance efficiency by 20% and could mainly impose on the P70 Pro smartphone.

Consequently, the Chinese tech maker could use three distinct chips for the next P-series models:

• Huawei P70 – Kirin 9000s
• Huawei P70 Pro – an overclocked Kirin 9000s chip
• Huawei P70 Art – Kirin 9010 chipset

There aren’t any official statements on this matter. Hence, we can’t mark the accuracy of this leak. However, the Kirin 9000SH information fits in this matter and there are chances to obtain new insights in the time ahead.

Huawei Kirin 9000s chipset:

Mate 60 Pro is the one to accompany this processor on board. The Kirin 9000s chipset uses the CPU architecture as 1 × 2.62GHz + 3 × 2.15GHz + 4 × 1.53GHz. The super large core frequency of this chipset offers boasting performance to the device.
