Huawei P70 Art may bring three new camera sensors with powerful ultrawide lens

A leak regarding the Huawei P70 Art suggests that the phone will bring three new camera sensors with a powerful ultrawide lens. It looks like the company is working on an upgraded and robust rear camera system for the upcoming flagship lineup.

Recently, tipster @SmartPikachu said that the Huawei P70 Art will bring new solutions for all of the three camera sensors whereas, it will have the strongest ultrawide angle lens. Perhaps, users will be able to capture much more from the scene over a normal lens.

Adding more details, the tipster says that the company is not only imposing an improved primary lens on the P70 Art phone but also has an enhanced telephoto sensor. Together, these lenses will give a new definition to the overall photography experience.

Earlier, Ming-Chi Kuo reported that Huawei P70 Art will adopt a new 1/1-inch IMX 989 camera sensor along with a 1G6P hybrid lens combination. The new hybrid lens will effectively control the functionality of the main IMX989 sensor and boost the image quality.

Besides, it offers detailed shot outcomes with minimum chromatic aberration. Thus, with proper lighting and visual effects, users will get amazing captures.

On the other hand, Huawei is testing a new Omnivision OV50H camera for the P70 series which has a 1.2-micron pixel in a 1/1.3-inch optical structure. It also bears quad-phase detection for better focus and low-light shots and is quite bigger than the 1/1.4-inch sensor used in P60 Pro.

These speculations are on track with previous inputs and hint that the Huawei P70 series will land on the stage with grand-level features and camera functions. Although, there is a requirement for an official statement to confirm this matter.
